I am a licensed clinical psychologist with the California Board of Psychology, the state of Michigan, and the state of Alaska. My background is as a psychologist in both clinical and forensic settings, a public school teacher, a school psychologist, and a public school administrator. I am proud to have served in the US Armed Services as an enlisted US Marine.
Treatment modalities are in cognitive behavioral therapy, psychoanalytic, rational emotive therapy, transactional analysis, psychoeducational, client centered, grief, gestalt, and existential psychotherapy. Populations/Treatment Areas Served: ADHD, Autism, Learning Disabilities, Generalized Anxiety Disorders, Major Depressive Disorder, Schizophrenia Spectrum Disorders, Personality Disorders, LGBTQIA+, Antisocial Personality Disorder, Grief, Couples/Marriage, School Psychology, Conduct Disorders, Oppositional Defiant Disorders, Bipolar Disorder, Divorce, Parenting/Child Rearing, Substance Use Disorders, Attachment Disorders, and Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities. I am certified by the CA Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) as a psychological evaluator and conduct pre-employment evaluations on peace officer candidates.
I hold a Bachelor of Arts in History from San Diego State University, a Masters of Science in School Psychology, and a Doctorate in Educational Psychology.
